Never Slow Down!

Coffee on the terrace at 8:30.......finally warm enough in the morning to enjoy the outdoors without a sweater!  Getting ready to head down to the outdoor market in Bogliasco as it is Tuesday, having managed to get in almost 2 hours of work.  Andi is working with the watercolor pencils and I am mixed up doing too many things at once with no progress!  Here is a quick overview of what has happened so far!

Pattern Making

The prospect of another beautiful day has inspired everyone.  At lunch we all decided to organize a trip to Portofino.  Several of us had been there before, but many had not. We had started this planning the night before, but with only 4 or 5 of us.  By the time lunch was finished, we had 11 people and 3 cars!

We lucked out in arriving around 3:00 with plenty of spaces still left in the underground parking garage.  Most of the time was spent hiking to Castello Brown which is perched on a promontory high above Portofino........what an amazing view.  We all got a bit separated along the way, but eventually met up again back in the piazza and collapsed for wine and prosecco in the afternoon sun.  It was hard to leave!

On the way back there was an underlying motive to swing by Camogli for a swim.  Not all of us were prepared for this, but we made the late afternoon effort and headed down to the beach.  Some people had their suits, while others of us drifted over to the adjacent bar for another aperol while we watched......finding it easier to put our feet in rather than taking the full dive!

First the morning pics......then the afternoon.
