We broke just before noon to walk down to Bogliasco centro to stretch our legs. We had heard from Paulina that there was an vintage Fiat 500 car rally down at the beach piazza in town. Unfortunately by the time we arrived there were only 2 left......the others were off on a road rally. As we headed back, it started to rain lightly.......and we both arrived at the Villa 15 minutes later on the damp side!..........like needing to use a hairdryer!
After lunch we worked a little more in the studio and had a nice siesta. Around 4:00 we headed out to Recco in our car in search of focaccio to supplement the 'light' dinner we were anticipating. We found a great shop and bought several varieties for the whole group. The food was actually great at our buffet, including vitello tonnato and a substantial salad........as well as some wonderful local salami (boar, barolo and truffle) that Robing had purchased at the food market in town.
A late walk after dinner got the fit bit almost up to 8,000 steps!
Today's images include some of our first sketching and painting attempts, as well as a hodge-podge of other pictures. More to come!
