Molto Vicino

Here we are, plugging away at our digital devices trying to catch up on last minute contacts and emails.  We are realizing that we are somewhat memory challenged these days and are fully prepared to forget any number of critical items to be packed.  Rather than worry about it, we have decided to sit down, hit our keyboards and have a glass of wine!

We just had a quick visit with the gang to see Caroline and the kids before leaving.  Alex was stuck in Boston on some kind of planning assignment at the Commonwealth Hotel, so we did the 'arrivederci' without him......and caught up by phone afterwards.  Chris just checked in after work, and Courtney is in the warm weather outside of Orlando tonight!

We are going to miss the whole clan quite a bit,  but are excited about the convenience of our digital communications........Addie is looking forward to FaceTime!

Pushing off the suitcase packing until later tonight.  

Just found out from the Foundation that the dinners are semi-formal (i.e. no jeans and T-shirts) so Andi is repacking a bit and I am looking for a few ties!

Also, the Foundation wanted to make sure we had no problem with "canine support," as they have dogs on site........specifically 3 Golden Retrievers! Zerlina di Fivizzano, Alegro III di Fivizzano and Jacky, born in 2009......the same age as Tessa!  She will be so jealous! 

She already looks forlorn!
