Sabato

Today has been wonderfully quiet, as I suspect our day to day rhythm is beginning to change.  We camped out most of the morning in the house and studio as it rained last night and remained cloudy and moody during the morning. 

In the afternoon we drove to Genova and explored.  We also managed to get a bit lost.....but survived with Siri's help!  The sun came out for a while and we wandered back down the coast from Genoa on the road which runs along the sea.  Arriving in Bogliasco, we drove to the grocery store in town......slightly detoured by a half hour stop at the train track crossing!  Grabbed our wine for Sunday and Monday nights and headed back to the ranch. Monday is a holiday here - Liberation Day or Festa della Liberazione celebrating the liberation of Italy from Nazi Germany in 1945.  The staff at the foundation is on skeleton duty.
